Are You REALLY thin? or is your BMI deceiving you?

The usual Body Mass Index(BMI) falls within the range of 18.5 to 25)

Most persons in this range assume that they are not at risk for obesity-related diseases, but in a new study that was presented at the American College of Cardiology Annual Scientific Session the doctors involved concluded that more than half of the women with a "healthy" BMI also had an "unhealthy" body fat percentage (30% or more).

BMI only considers the ratio between height and weight. It does not take into effect or distinguish between LEAN muscle or fat...

Make sure to get your body fat tested to get a better analysis of how in shape or out of shape you truly are.

OVER and OUT!
