What the "TABATA" are you talking about?

Have you ever heard of Tabata Training? This is a training style that was developed by Izuma Tabata, PhD. At the National Institute of Fitness and Sports. This is considered "interval" training that will help you burn more fat than your standard workout. Here is how you do it:

1. Decide your exercise/ cardio activity

2. Do a warmup (5-10 min) on a bike to get the blood pumping

3. Do the first "set" of your exercise for 20 SECONDS ONLY. Counting reps is not as important as completing the 20 seconds allotted.

4. Rest for 10 seconds.

5. Repeat #3 and #4 for a total of FOUR minutes.

These will be THE WORST four minutes you will spend working out. Trust Me.

Over & Out!
